Contemporary Jewelry and Monoprints on Enamel, Metal, Wood, and Paper by Leslie Parsons
Here in the cool, high country of Prescott, Arizona, amid the pines and junipers, in an area called Inscription Canyon, Leslie Parsons pursues the art of making contemporary enamel and silver
jewelry and non-traditional monoprints. Working with a wide variety of materials from silver and
24K gold to polymer and enamel and found objects, she creates one of a kind original pieces of
jewelry. And using non-toxic Akua inks she makes a broad range of one-off monoprints.
"Life is all about growth, about staying on the upside of the learning curve, of discovering new things in the world around us and within ourselves. And discovering new ways to use old things.
"Similarly, my art is about the process of learning and growth. The art is a combining of new ideas with traditional techniques, and of learning new ways to approach old problems.
"Please join me in my jewelry or my monoprint gallery to view current works. " Leslie
